On this day, April 19, 1775 the battles of Concord and Lexington occured which lead to the start of the Revolutionary war. This battle was preceded by the desires of the British forces to disarm the local militias by seizing their cannon and powder stored at the local armories. One can rightly say that the American Revolution began with efforts for gun control. A task still desired by all enemies of freedom. I find it ironic that the state where the whole thing started is noted for some of the tightest gun control laws in the nation. This of course has done nothing to prevent violent crime, but they cling to their illusions anyway.

May God continue to Bless America!
