Rush to Judgment!

Well, Saint Murtha has spoken. There now remains little doubt. Iraq is just like Viet Nam and Haditha will soon become synonymous with My Lai. The left has known for that it was just a matter of time before Operation Iraqi Freedom was exposed for the lie that it is just like the Vietnamese War was exposed! Just ask the press. They have already convicted all of the Marines involved. They are guilty! That’s what happens when you go to war. Forget about all of the new schools, new water and sewer systems, over 70% of Iraqi’s voting for their government. We just knew the whole house of cards would come falling down.

Of course, there is the little matter, that no one has read the report yet, because it hasn’t been finished. But, we already know what it will say. That is because we are morally superior to all of you hayseeds in flyover country. We know the real evil that lurks in the heart of the US Military. All you sub human types who are just one step away from Cro-Magnon man. We have a vision that now of you can even imagine! The whole world living as one, in love and peace.

Michelle Malkin michellemalkin.com/archives/005280.htm has three recent articles about the incident in Haditha, including an interview with the Marine who was ridding next to the Marine who was split in half by a IED. It is worth the effort to hear his interview which was broadcast by Seattle’s King5 TV. This requires Microsoft Media V. 10. Since he was knocked unconscious by the blast he doesn’t know what happened afterwards but tells that insurgents routinely used kids and civilians as human shields. None of us know what the investigation will uncover, but I trust the Marine Corp. to get to the bottom of this incident. What bothers me is how the media will use any incident or controversy to undercut our military, the war in Iraq and President Bush etc. Who had heard of John Murtha before last year?  What made Cindy Sheenan so important? How they look themselves in the mirror is beyond me, but they do not seem to have much of a conscience or memory for that matter. Only days into our invasion of Afghanistan the New York Times was calling the operation a quagmire, the same with Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I guess if you make a deal with the devil, one of the benefits is that your memory is wiped clean every night.

Peace

I agree!

Speaking of such, our buddy Thad Box is back in Sundays Letters. So in other words, if you disagree with Mr. Box and call him on it, it's considered a cheap shot? I think that we all know where Kevin Doyle stands on the political end of things! Somewhere between lefty and leftest?

Whenever someone says the media is rightest and become corporate or whatever you know that they are from the extreme left. There was a letter from someone similar about two weeks ago who took me on with the same amount of nonesense. I do not see Mr. Box supplying sources. All these people are saying is "I agree with what he writes" and to hell with you for saying something opposite. I especially like it when they say that our side accusses them of not being patriotic or something similar. Mr. Kirby's letter (which I thought was very thoughtfull and interesting) and mine never accussed anybody about being unpatriotic! When people project like that you know deep inside that is an issue within them! With liberal bias being proven by multiply academic studies and is observed by the majority of the American people, you have to been a pretty extreme leftist to think that the media is rightist. If your own viewpoint is that far to the left everything else will seem far to the right!
