A CALL TO ACTION!

Modern Iraqi History (part III)

What bothers me so much about much of the opposition regarding Operation Iraqi Freedom is the large amount of misinformation and lies which are being constantly spread. In the past two articles I have tried to answer some of this. In this article I intend to answer once and for all the claims that Iraq did not have ties to Al Qaeda and terrorism. Since the amount of information I intend to provide is huge I will refer the reader to a number of articles which contain much more than I have space for here. The first article is by the intrepid reporter Stephan F. Hayes who more than any other reporter has exposed Saddam’s evil intentions and actions. In his article printed in the Weekly Standard he reveals a leaked government memo which lists fifty points where Iraq and Al Qaeda colluded.

Secondly I would like to refer you to an excellent presentation made by Deroy Murdock with the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace at laceName w:st="on">StanfordlaceName> laceType w:st="on">UniversitylaceType>. In this presentation entitled: Saddam Hussein’s Philanthropy of Terror he makes a very powerful case that Saddam supported terrorism throughout the world. Additionally he points out in a US Court of Law a case was tried and won implicating Saddam with support for Al Qaeda!

Another courageous person who has written extensively on Iraq and terrorism is Dr. Laurie Mylroie. She was hired by candidate Bill Clinton as his advisor on the Middle East when he was running for president in 1992. She believes and makes a very powerful argument that Iraqi Intelligence was involved in the first laceName w:st="on">WorldlaceName> laceName w:st="on">TradelaceName> laceType w:st="on">CenterlaceType> bombing. In her book ‘War Against America” she reveals a number of facts which most Americans have never been told. She also has an excellent article printed in the New York Sun regarding Saddam’s ties with terrorism.

Probably one of the most troubling pieces to this puzzle was discovered in seized Iraqi Intelligence documents captured after our invasion in 2003. Some of these documents reveal a plan to launch terrorist attacks throughout the world (mostly against British and US targets) in July of 2003 (remember we invaded in March). This program was called Blessed July.

Previously, other captured documents have revealed that at four different camps in Iraq there were at least 8,000 terrorist from throughout the Arab world were being trained in all forms of terrorism including airplane hijackings, the use of poison gases, and other WMD’s etc

Another powerful article by Stephan F. Hayes called the mother of all connections provides great detail about collaboration between Iraq and Al Qaeda. It can be found here:

What is truly depressing is that all of this information has been available to the Major Media yet reporters and commentators still insist that there were no ties to Al Qaeda and totally ignore all of Saddam’s other programs of terror. This of course also included many democrats.

One of the most amazing people who have written extensively about Iraq’s threat to the US and the world is a nineteen year old named Ryan Mauro. I am currently reading his book, titled “Death to America.” This book is absolutely incredible and contains a very detailed list of sources. Another article regarding him and Iraq’s threat is: http://www.worldthreats.com/middle_east/PaperTies.htm

If you are interested in an article which exposed how dishonest some reporters are in their coverage of the Iraq war you should read this: http://www.worldthreats.com/middle_east/SeenEnemy.htm  If it weren’t so pathetic this article would be funny! So the next time you hear someone (like Rocky Anderson) say that Bush lied us into war, show them this article and kindly share this with all those whom you know.

Peace
