A CALL TO ACTION!

Terror a Law Enforcement Issue?

Probably, the biggest difference between the Bush administration and Clinton’s is its philosophy regarding the treatment of terrorism. There are several problems with treating terrorism as a LE issue. In 1993, the World Trade towers were attacked. Because the perpetrators were treated as criminals a number of problems arose. This was a thought out approach by the Clinton’s. Any involvement by State actors like Iraq were ignored and not investigated. I believe this was done on purpose. Clinton did not want to have to address Saddam Hussein in any meaningful way and this lead to repeated attacks. The Clintons had a chance to seize Bin Laden when he was ejected from Sudan, but passed, because they had no charges in which they could try him.

The late James Fox who headed the FBI’s counter terrorism task force in New York believed that Iraqi intelligence played a significant role in the first attack. But, because of the nature of the investigation this was not explored. Despite 170 eyewitnesses stating that they saw a missile trail risse up to strike TWA Flight 800, they were ignored, just as the 22 signed affidavits reporter Jayna Davis collected after the bombing of the Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma city. Again this was a way of avoiding any international involvement. Just as Clinton’s failure to press the Saudi’s on information regarding the Kobar towers bombing.

The problem with cover-ups is that once they are started they usually lead to further cover-ups when new attacks occur, to prevent an unraveling about the previous cover-up. This leads to further cover-ups to protect those involved to the previous cover ups. On and on it goes. That is probably the worst thing about this issue. If a full investigation were allowed to occur, the principle players could be stopped from instigating a future attack. It is impossible to fully understand the motivations regarding any given cover up. Why is the Bush administration covering up for the Clinton admin? You would have to have a much higher security clearance than I have to understand this. What is so disappointing to me is how the Major Media refuses to get involved and do their jobs. They seem to think that it is their job to prevent or undermine any war by this country. They clearly have gone out of their way to protect Clinton and his minions from any real investigations. Otherwise, how can you explain their lack of curiosity? What really puzzles me though, is that many clear thinking Americans seem perfectly content to let this whole issue be ignored. My brother argues and maybe he is right, than when you know the truth then you have to act. Therefore ignorance is truly bliss. This is a sad statement if true. What do you think?

Peace
